Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
This is a position within Dynacom Tankers Mgmt IT Dept. Our team consists of experienced administrators and engineers who constantly deliver state of the art products and services to the company’s departments, subsidiaries and vessels.
The candidate will be responsible for the design, testing, implementation, integration and maintenance of the company’s software.
The candidate will:

• Maintain the already existing code base
• Analyze requirements and functional specs
• Design/implement/test/integrate new applications

Must have:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Comp/Elec Engineer or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of professional experience
• Acquainted with open source tools and open source philosophy
• Proven knowledge and experience with large ORDBMS installations
• Languages: Java, SQL
• Front end technologies: Javascript, HTML5, CSS, React, Jquery, ECMA
• Frameworks: Java EE 7, XML, JAX-RS, Hibernate
• App servers: Wildfly 10, Jboss 6.0.0+
• Database servers: PostgreSQL (8.*, 9.*, 10.*, 11.*)
• Development tools: Eclipse, Git, ant, maven
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems (sh, awk, sed)

Great to have:

• C
• plpgsql
• perl

Nice to have:

• Java 8+ and latest developments
• Banking experience, SWIFT, ISO20022
• Tomcat
• python
• MS SQL, mysql
• Experience with bug tracking management software
• Experience with unit/integration/system testing
