Aibel has roots dating back more than a century. Companies such as Elektrisk Bureau, Haugesund Mekaniske Verksted (HMV), Umoe and ABB were all forerunners of Aibel as it is today.

From drawing board to fabrication yard.

The business at Aibel is split into two units: Modifications and yard services, and Field development and Offshore wind. The company delivers the full range of EPC services. The scope of services includes concepts, FEEDs, management, detail engineering, procurement, fabrication services, system completion, maintenance, operational support and decommissioning.

We are also concerned with paying attention to new technologies in regards to our services, and constantly look for improvements and optimisations in connection with the way we work.
