East London Shipyard (Pty) Ltd is a privately owned ship repair firm with collectively over 100 years of hands-on experience. Being a small company able to offer a personalised service, we have the advantage of being in a position where we have the backing of several well established affiliate companies. We offer a complement of highly experienced personnel capable of undertaking any job at competitive prices.

Situated in East London, East London Shipyard is ideally situated between the Ports of Durban and Cape Town. Less than 3 hours by road from Port Elizabeth, we are also able to offer a full range of services in that port. In the dry dock or afloat, from trawlers to bulk carriers, East London Shipyard provides the necessary staff and equipment to carry out any form of ship repair work.

East London Shipyard is located in South Africa’s only river port. We provide a full range of services and have experience with a wide range of vessel types.
