Rahbaran Omid Darya (ROD) Ship Management Company is an Iranian registered private company with well established organization and qualified employees of more than 45 years experience and is a global third party ship manager providing a complete range of integrated marine services.
We offer management services for shipping industries on a worldwide basis as follow:
-Ship’s technical managements
– Stores and spare parts supply
– Technical supervision of ship’s dry docking general repair
– Technical inspection of ship’s in full compliance with classification societies.
– Technical supervision of new building projects and ship’s voyage repair
By providing first class guidance to Masters and Chief Engineers, economical and expedient contracts for supplies and virtually every possible shore back up provision we can ensure our owners are given full peace of mind for their vessels.
The Technical Department is responsible for maintaining the company’s safety standards on vessels, and for coordinating, assisting and encouraging the Master on the implementation and maintenance of the company’s shipboard Safety and Environment Protection management system.
ROD has a strong and professional vessel management team. Our department has 50 senior Superintendents with an average of 10 years as Chief Engineer and Master with 15 years experience at sea. This dedicated team provides all the necessary logistical support to achieve smooth operations on the ship. Our superintendent team consists of 35 technical, 10 Electronic and 5 Marine Operation superintendents.
With near to five decades of experience ROD has risen to become a leading force in its field by adhering to an unequivocal commitment to quality and efficiency. The company is respected for its pioneering efforts in the implementation of safety of life at sea and safe ship and cargo operations as well as being a leading proponent in the fight against pollution and other environmental hazards.
Our regional fleet management offices are structured to provide global service to our vessels in their immediate geographic area.
A combination of traditional marine skills combined with cutting edge IT technology makes ROD a world leader in third party ship management.
ROD presently manages 97 vessels of maritime fleet with the total capacity of 3.3 million tons deadweight (DWT).
ROD’s global ship operations and management team brings a wealth of experience to all aspects of the technical, crew, and project management of a truly diverse and specialized fleet of managed vessels, which includes vessel types such as Handy Size, Handy max, Panamax bulk carriers, Chemical tankers, Bunker vessels, Oil tankers, VLCCs, Container carriers and General cargo ships.
ROD has the ability to create custom commercial ship management programs for customers. Our flexibility allows us to be the “right fit” for virtually any vessel fleet or company while providing maximum benefits to all involved parties.
The policies and procedures reflected in every aspect of our management system are based on recognized ISO and ISM standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
