About Us

Strategic Marine originated as Geraldton Boat Builders Pty Ltd in 1984 in the Western Australian port of Geraldton, with a focus of constructing high performance offshore fishing boats.

With its commitment in the development of boat designs and quality, Strategic Marine gradually earned its reputation as a specialist international aluminium shipbuilder. Strategic Marine eventually broaden its global footprints and expanded operations to Singapore in 1997, entering into a Singapore joint venture to deliver an order of more than 70 vessels for the Singapore Coast Guard and the Malaysian Water Police.

Over the years, Strategic Marine has successfully built and delivered over 600 high-quality vessels to satisfied clients all over the world.  These vessel types range from  Oil & Gas Vessels, Offshore Wind Service Vessels, Maritime Security Vessels, Passenger & Tourism Vessels as well as several types of Workboats.

Strategic Marine’s growing portfolio has seen the company’s capabilities expand to offer larger, purpose-built steel vessels. Beyond shipbuilding, the company offers Service and Maintenance, Fabrication and Engineering, Marine Logistics services and Financial Services and Solutions for its products – providing a turnkey, hassle-free, end-to-end solutions to clients.
