About Us

Torlak family and Torlak Shipyard who is in relationship with the maritime industry as from 1900s, have determined specalising in the Offshore industry as one of their main goals and took the first step towards it by going under contract for building state-of-the-art vessel, Viking Lady, as partly outfitted on hull basis.

Viking Lady was the largest platform supply vessel that has ever been built and delivered in Turkey. She is developed to meet the highest environmental standards and is the first commercialship ever made with a “fuel cell” specially adapted for marine use.

Ever since the arrival of the floating dock in 2004, Torlak Shipyard has also used its expertise to dock and repair the world’s ships and has spread its experience all over the world. With 470 m of berthing and upto 42000 DWT of docking capacity, regardless of any technical detail, Torlak Shipyard performs every kind of repair jobs successfully within the compass of its capacity.

Between years 2005 – 2011, Torlak’s floating dock has served for more than 4 million DWT of vessels.
