Zhoushan Changhong International Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was established in 2009 and is a joint venture between Jiangsu New Yangtze River Group and China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd. (referred to as CIMC Group). The total investment is 4 billion yuan, covering an area of about 1.6 million square meters, and the coastline is about 2,500 meters. The company is located in the new area of Zhoushan Archipelago, Zhejiang, on the northwest coast of Dinghai District, Zhoushan City, adjacent to the International Golden Waterway, facing the Shanghai Yangshan Port across the sea, with wide water depths, convenient transportation and a unique geographical location.
The company has one 300,000-ton dry dock and one 80,000-ton dry dock, one 30,000-ton lifting floating dock, two 150,000-ton horizontal berths, an outfitting wharf of nearly 2000 meters, one 900-ton gantry crane, and two A 500-ton gantry crane and a 300-ton gantry crane. The annual steel processing capacity is 300,000 tons, the annual shipbuilding capacity is 2.52 million deadweight tons, and the annual ship repair capacity is more than 250 ships.
