TUG MASTER

Overall responsibility for the safe operation of the tug and maintaing the health & safety of its crew and preventing pollution
• Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory measures, i.e. MCA and Port Marine Safety Code) and company management system
• Carry out the ship’s administration and manage all ships certification providing the Marine Operations Manager with a status report as required
• To lead, instruct and motivate the crew in a clear and concise manner
Other Duties include (but not limited to):
• Maintaining tugs charts and publications
• Mooring & Docking of vessel’s
• Counter Pollution
• Partnerships with other ports and stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:
• STCW Master 500grt or higher
• All STCW short courses including all recent amendments
• Valid ENG1 medical
