The Al.Ma. Catering Group specialises in providing catering, hotel and logistical support services for the shipping sector and Oil&Gas and infrastructure construction sites.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Plinio Guidoni began working as a ship supplier. In 1946 Plinio’s son Giacomo Guidoni and Cesare Cavalleroni founded Provvedinavi Srl, which provided services to the shipowners involved in supporting post-war reconstruction.
Nine years later, in 1955, the company was reorganised and grew, leading to the foundation of Al.Ma. Alimentari Marittimi which, under their leadership and that of their descendants, over the years grew to become the solid, modern and international group it is today.
We have become a strategic partner to major international companies, and every day look after over 12,000 people, in some cases also providing living quarters, and supply 25,000 meals a day, providing accommodation services, through the work of over 1,500 employees.
