About Us

Chriship AS is a subsidiary of the family company Chriship-Gruppen AS, and acts as the group’s administrative and operational center.

As a shipowner, continuously through several generations (first freighter delivered as early as 1858), and a limited company since 1973, Chriship and a limited company have long experience and tradition in the maritime sector. Traditionally, the group has been mainly associated with dry cargo, reefer, and later container traffic both as shipowners, brokers and agents headquartered in Vester len.

The area of ​​operation for own tonnage has mainly been Northern Europe, but with detours to the Mediterranean, the Middle East, Africa and North America. For the past 30 years, the company has mainly operated and owned older tonnage, and as such has built up specialist expertise in the technical challenges this represents. The best reference in this respect will be M / S Tege (on T / C to Tollpost-Globe AS since 1984) which for the last 20 years has sailed practically without off-hire with the exception of planned class work and conversions.
