Diana Shipping Inc. (NYSE: DSX) is a global provider of shipping transportation services. We specialize in the ownership of dry bulk vessels. As of March 28, 2021 our fleet consists of 36 dry bulk vessels (4 Newcastlemax, 12 Capesize, 5 Post-Panamax, 5 Kamsarmax and 10 Panamax), as well as one Panamax dry bulk vessel, the “Naias”, that has been sold and expected to be delivered to her new owners at the latest by July 30, 2021.
As of the same date, the combined carrying capacity of our fleet is approximately 4.7 million dwt with a weighted average age of 10.19 years.
Our fleet is managed by our wholly-owned subsidiary Diana Shipping Services S.A. and our established 50/50 joint venture with Wilhelmsen Ship Management named Diana Wilhelmsen Management Limited in Cyprus.
