About Us

Gemak Group was established in 1969 in Haliç Bosphorus, Istanbul. Gemak Group now stands out in Turkey and around the world for its wide range of skills and technical expertise. Gemak has the vision to be the best in class and preferred partner on worldwide basis for demanding projects on steel fabrication industry, marine and offshore vessel building, marine conversion projects, marine vessels repair and maintenance.

Gemak Group consists of Gemak Tuzla Shipyard, Gemak TGE Shipyard, Neta Steel & Pipe Fabrication and Gemak Altınova Shipyard on totally 336.000 m2 field.

With approximately 2.500 employees, 170 of whom are engineers specialized in their fields, Gemak will continue to progress with the principles of creating progress for the company, supporting change and foresight by contributing to crossing the borders as in the past.

Exceeding 2000 ships furnished with the services of repair or conversion by Gemak Group since 1969, which is today capable of undertaking 5.500.000 DWT ship repair capacity per annum, Group today provides services for a wide range of ships from simple bulk carriers to sophisticated LPGs/LNGs, dredger vessels, offshore platforms, semi-subs, drillships etc. and meanwhile enjoying challenging engineering projects of conversions, damage repairs, refits.
