With over 130 years of experience in shipping, Holwerda has built up exceptional expertise in the field of chartering, purchase and sale of ships, technical management, crew matters and administrative reporting.

Its own fleet currently consists of 10 ships, varying in size from 4,600 to 8,700 tons of cargo capacity, all sailing under the Dutch flag. Holwerda is regarded as a specialist in shipping containers. The ships are mainly deployed in various scheduled services, mainly in the North and Baltic Sea.
