About Us

IMS was established over four decades ago when Capt. S.C. Sood founded the firm – International Marine Services in 1969.

Involved with a whole gamut of maritime related activities, today the core focus of the group is on the following areas:

• Crew Management
• Dredging & Infrastructure
• Project Management & Consultancy

IMS has provided quality crew to over 650 merchant vessels and also continues to cater to the needs of various Cruises and Offshore companies. It enables high standards of operating practices, complying with national & international statutory regulations, standards and guidelines related to Fleet Personnel Management.

In parallel, IMS is expanding its fleet of dredgers, looking forward to new projects and joint ventures to meet with the needs of this fast accelerating infrastructure opportunity.

IMS was also responsible for establishing India’s first private sector LPG Receiving Terminal at Porbander, Gujarat, India, in collaboration with SHV Energy, Holland (A multinational Fortune 500 company) besides various other marine related projects of note.
