About Us

As JR Shipping’s and SeaZip Offshore Service’s crewing department in Harlingen, we are in charge of recruiting, selecting and retaining our crew members. Besides that, we are responsible for employment practices at sea. For that purpose, we closely cooperate with the vessels’ officers and the experts working at the organisation ashore. Our mission is to create the right conditions for everyone in order to do our collective job at sea as well and safely as possible.

We take our responsibility for the quality of our seamen seriously. In line with current quality and certification requirements, we ensure the best possible crew for our vessels. For that purpose, we look beyond tomorrow, which means that we coach and train talented maritime professionals. We often do that on the job, as a team. In consultation, though, we also set out individual, customised learning pathways.
